RETREATS

The 4-day retreats are held in the world-renowned Sedona, Arizona. Removing yourself from your everyday environment gives you the invaluable opportunity to connect and build community with other high-achievers in recovery. (Lodging and meals included.)

COMMUNITY

You’ll join a group of driven men who want this
addiction out of their lives.

ACCOUNTABILITY

You’ll use a daily check-in system to keep you on track and accountable to your private group.

COACHING

You’ll participate in weekly calls with your small group that run all year long. Certified Sex Addiction Therapists will help your group maintain sobriety and achieve long-term recovery.

HOW DOES THIS PROGRAM WORK?

The Successful Addict is a monthly membership. When you join, you’ll get access to everything on an ongoing basis, and can remain in your group for as long as you need. When you decide that you’re ready to pursue recovery on your own, you can end your membership. Until that point, we will be here for you.

Application & Interview

Fill out an application and schedule an interview with The Successful Addict’s founder, Roland Cochrun. If selected, you’ll begin the program immediately.
Weekly Zoom Group Meetings

You will meet your group the very next week on Zoom and meet weekly after that.
Biannual Retreats

Next, you will come to your first retreat in Sedona, Arizona, where you will spend 4 days dedicated to connection and recovery. This program includes two intensives each year. While not mandatory, attending both is strongly suggested for your recovery.
Daily Accountability

Your private group will have accountability check-ins that happen daily on your own time using an app on your phone.

FOUNDER, THE SUCCESSFUL ADDICT

Roland Cochrun received his Doctorate in Physiotherapy at Pacific University College of Health Professions. He has completed training at the Institute of Sexual Health for Deceptive Sexuality and Trauma Treatment for infidelity and compulsive sexual behavior disorders. Since selling his rehab facility in 2019, Roland has been hosting small group intensives for high-achievers.

Roland is a serial entrepreneur, business owner, and investor in many industries. While Roland continues to be an authority in the medical field and personal branding industry, his full-time job is running small intensives for men who have developed sex and pornography addictions. Roland has a talent for creating quick transformations and deep group connections. After experiencing one of his intensives, guests agree that hosting small group retreats is what Roland was designed to do.

MY ADDICTION STORY.

When I discovered that I was a sex addict, I was willing to do whatever it took to get sober and save my marriage.

In business, I had overcome significant challenges before. So, I was familiar with getting help when I didn’t know how to help myself.

Over the past 10 years, entrepreneurs have cracked the code to success. If you want to accelerate your journey, you need:

A mastermind group of like-minded men you respect and admire.
A formula you can use with other men to find your blindspots and change your mind.
A coach who facilitates the mastermind group who has accomplished what the other men in the group are trying to accomplish.

I have used the formula above to build multi-million dollar businesses in 3 different industries. So, when I went searching for sex addiction treatment, I was looking for a similar group.

I couldn’t find it.

The 12-step groups that I attended were fine…but there’s not much deep connection that happens, and I found that there was very little lasting sobriety in the room.

Therapy was working well, but I needed more support in between appointments.

I went to in-person intensives, read all the books, listened to every podcast, and had multiple therapists at one time. I was going to two 12-step meetings each week and had three groups of men from my intensives that I connected with weekly.

But, it wasn’t the same. I knew I needed a mastermind group with structure, comradery, and accountability.

That is why I started The Successful Addict.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between The Successful Addict and other sex addiction intensives?

The biggest difference is that this program is more than just an intensive. It’s designed to give you everything you need to recover. Deep connection with men you’ve met in person. Weekly Zoom calls with the group in between retreats. A daily accountability system to keep your sobriety top of mind and give you a feeling of support.

Most retreats waste too much time on things that could be done virtually or at your therapy appointments. The Successful Addict preserves our four days together to do only things that must be done in person or as a group. The rest will be addressed virtually.
Do I need multi-day intensives to fully recover from this addiction?

Intensives accelerate your recovery. One 4-day retreat will total more than 30 hours dedicated to your recovery. If you’re not married, speed is not as important. However, if you’re currently married, it’s recommended that you accelerate recovery to prevent further harm to the relationship.
How many men are in each intensive?

The Successful Addict’s groups are very small. We only allow a maximum of 10 men in a group. This allows us to maximize connection and individual attention.
How long do men stay in the program?

Members stay until they decide that they’re ready to pursue recovery on their own. When you join, you pay a monthly membership fee that includes two four-day intensives each year, lodging and meals, weekly coaching calls with your group, and our daily check-in system.
Are all of the men in the program financially successful?

We have served men from a variety of professional backgrounds such as lawyers, doctors, professional athletes, business/sales professionals, entrepreneurs, and more. While most men in our retreats have experienced financial success at some point in their lives, what matters most is their mutual commitment to recovery and their marriages.
What is the success rate of the program?

Our success is as high as one can make it. You’ll have daily accountability check-ins with a group of men whom you have met in person. This addiction has a way of bonding men in a way that I have never witnessed before. If you let them support you, you will recover at the highest success rate possible.
Are lodging and meals included in the program?

Yes, your room and meals during the intensive hours will be included in the cost of the program. You will be able to attend two intensives each year with your group as a part of the program
Where are the intensives held?

The intensives are held in Sedona, Arizona. Sedona has a special way of connecting people; there isn’t a more healing place on earth.
Why do I need to have seen a therapist before coming to the intensive?

Our in-person intensives are designed to do the things that you won’t get in therapy. Connection with other sex addicts, accountability, group work, co-learning, and unplugging from the distractions of day-to-day life to focus on your recovery. We would strongly advise you to continue working with a licensed therapist in a one-on-one setting to achieve a full recovery. It’s not worth risking your marriage if this addiction were to come back.
Is your program only for married men?

Not necessarily. We have had men in dating relationships, engaged to be married, and men who were recently divorced. The most important factor is not the relationship status, but your commitment to making recovery a priority.
